The method for determining operation life and durability indexes of structural elements of heat and nuclear power plants is proposed. The method is based on the mathematical modelling of the deformation and damage of structural elements to determine operation life for a given operating conditions, the results of which are handled by the methods of the theory of probability to determine the probability durability indexes.
